This Refund & Return Policy applies to all purchases made through Philips Modern Homes (https://philipsmodernhomes.com). We are committed to providing transparent and compliant return practices in accordance with UAE consumer protection regulations.
Eligibility for Returns
Due to the bespoke, handcrafted nature of our furniture, returns are only accepted under the following conditions:
- Damage or Defects: Requests for items that arrive damaged during delivery or have manufacturing defects must be submitted within 48 hours of delivery.
- Condition: Items must be in their original condition, unused, and in the original packaging.
- Custom Items: Custom-made or made-to-order items are Final Sale and are not eligible for return unless they arrive damaged or defective as stated above.
Non-Returnable Situations
Returns and refunds are not accepted in the following cases:
- Change of mind after delivery.
- Damage caused by misuse, improper handling, or third-party installation.
- Normal wear and tear over time.
- Incorrect shipping address or contact details provided by the customer.
Return Shipping & Costs
- Final Sale Policy: All sales at Philips Modern Homes are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges except for manufacturing defects or delivery damage.
- Shipping Fees: For approved returns due to manufacturing defects or delivery damage, Philips Modern Homes will cover all return shipping and collection costs.
- Change of Mind: As we do not accept change-of-mind returns, return shipping for these reasons is not applicable.
How to Request a Return
To initiate a return for a damaged or defective item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery:

Refunds & Processing
- Approval: Once your request is reviewed and the item is inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
- Processing Time: Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.
- Shipping Refunds: Original shipping fees are refundable only if the return is due to our error, a damaged item, or an incorrect item delivered.
Order Cancellations
Since our products are made-to-order with a 10–12 business day production lead time, cancellations are only accepted within 24 hours of order placement. Once production has commenced, the order cannot be cancelled or refunded. Please include your order number and supporting images or videos.
