This Refund & Return Policy applies to purchases made through
https://philipsmodernhomes.com (“Philips Modern Homes”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).

We are committed to providing fair, transparent, and compliant return practices in accordance with applicable UAE regulations.


1. Return Eligibility

You may request a return under the following conditions:

Eligible for Return

  • Item received is damaged during delivery

  • Item received is defective (manufacturing defect)

  • Incorrect item was delivered

Return requests must be submitted within 48 hours of delivery.


2. General Return Conditions

To be eligible for return:

  • The item must be unused

  • The item must be in its original condition

  • The item must be in original packaging

  • Proof of purchase (order number) must be provided

We reserve the right to inspect returned items before approving refunds or replacements.


3. Non-Returnable Situations

Returns may not be accepted in the following cases:

  • Change of mind after delivery

  • Damage caused by misuse, improper handling, or third-party installation

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Incorrect address provided by customer

This does not affect your rights under applicable UAE consumer protection laws.


4. Custom or Made-to-Order Items

Certain items may be manufactured or customized based on customer specifications.

If an item is customized specifically to your request:

  • Cancellation may not be possible once production has started.

  • However, defective or damaged customized items remain eligible for replacement or refund.


5. How to Request a Return

  • Clear photos of the item and packaging

Our team will review your request and respond within a reasonable timeframe.


6. Replacement Process

If a return is approved due to damage or defect:

  • We may offer a replacement, or

  • Issue a refund if replacement is not available

We will arrange return pickup where applicable.


7. Refund Processing

If a refund is approved:

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method

  • Processing time: 7–14 business days after approval

Shipping fees are refundable only if the return is due to:

  • Our error

  • Damaged item

  • Incorrect item delivered


8. Return Shipping Costs

If the return is approved due to:

  • Manufacturing defect

  • Delivery damage

  • Incorrect item

Return shipping costs will be covered by Philips Modern Homes.

If a return is approved for other exceptional reasons, return shipping costs may be the responsibility of the customer.


9. Order Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled before dispatch.

If the order has already been shipped, cancellation is no longer possible and return procedures will apply.

For customized items, cancellation may not be possible once production has begun.
